Like many people, I've moved a few times in my life, accumulating boxes of junk that was never unpacked. Every time I look at this motley collection of stuff in my basement, I just sigh. Too much to get rid of without paying an arm and a leg to someone to carry it off. Too daunting to cart it to a dump myself.
Last week, a client turned me on to Freecyle, which is looking like it might be my ticket to organizational happiness. It's a site that allows people to post listings for stuff they want to get rid of, but is too good to go to the dump. You post your unwanted stuff online; a member who wants it comes and carts it away. Good for the environment, good for you, good for the person who needs the stuff.

I've got a mountain of baby clothes and toys. Here's hoping it all has a new lease on life next week!
